Poly Illustrations is all about making fine art accessible to people, be they in commercial industries such as video game conceptual art, storyboarding for film, or even art for the home. My name is Paul Lee, and my mission in life is to make the world just a little bit more pretty every day.
I have worked with some of the biggest studios in the world and I am willing to bring that expertise to your next project.
In the Comics industry, I have worked with Dark Horse, Image, DC and Marvel.
I have also worked with publishers as an illustrator for Scholastic Books, Hachette and Houghton-Mifflin.
In the film industry I have worked for and with Animal Logic, helping them develop the Lego Batman Movie and have worked in pre-vis in many independent pieces of cinema.
I have also worked in pre-vis for video games, a unique industry that requires much attention to detail and have worked with some big names in the industry such as Insomniac Games and Disney Interactive.
With a primary focus on story boarding, I have developed a fine knack for being able to visualize a director's vision onto paper; a skill that has saved productions significant expense with screen accurate pre-vis, as well as built confidence in investors for projects that have a well directed vision.
It is my hope that by making my art accessible to the creative community that I can collaborate to help people make their visions reality.
